I live a (mostly) stress free life with my husband, 21 year old daughter and five (yes, you read that correctly) cats. I have licenses in both social work and counseling and have worked primarily in child protective services in the area of foster care and adoption. I'm now retired and spend most of my day cheerfully reading slash fiction. I'm also one of the maintainers on snape_potter and the sadly under-utilized accio_spoilers (on LJ) as well as one of the editors for the sshp_propher. I also have a terrible fixation with parenthesis, ellipses, and hypens. I've been a fan of slash since I was 18 and have gone through numerous fandoms since then. I'm currently playing in the Harry Potter sandbox with Snape/Harry as my OTP, but I have been known to read just about anything slash. Most noteably--Supernatural, Sherlock Holmes, House, Lord of the Rings, Starsky & Hutch, The Sentinel, Hogan's Heroes, Batman, and my first love, Star Trek: TOS. I neither write anything longer than ficlets or draw anything more difficult than cartoons. I only have a journal because I really like to comment on the works of others and it was suggested that I needed my own journal to do that. So--here it is.
