LOVE the art!
Oh man, I am so sorry. That sounds like a disaster in the making. BTW, LOVE the joke! My husband on the other hand didn't. But he's got one of those weird sense of humors, he's really got a guys humor. Yup!
Good luck and hugs, Aery
Thanks! That's one of my favorite jokes and is actually an in-joke from my side of the family. Both my brother's wives refer to themselves (and my husband) as the outlaws.
Glad you liked the art. ;D
*Hugs back and sucks up all the luck she can manage*
OMG, the art is FTW! And seriously, I would not be able to look at my husband without humming a funeral dirge every. time. I. saw. him.
Hee! Glad you liked the art. I really, really hope I can refrain from getting a t-shirt printed up with "I told you so" on it. I figure the billboard I rented should be enough.
*giggles* The art is adorable! What a great idea.
The party? Not so much. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can manage to stay out of the crossfire. :/
Hee! Glad you liked the art.
I plan to just clean and hang out in the kitchen. She's not my mother and I'm merely the caterer of this little party. *Buys more booze*
Heeee! The art is fabulous! And so true! You always boil Snarry down to its essence!
Sorry about the disaster in the works! Hope no one resorts to homicide!
Glad you liked it. ;D
As for the party, well, I plan to do some serious cleaning and then hide in the kitchen during all the shouting. I'm just the caterer for this little party. Her kids and husband can deal with the fallout.
so much awesomeness and win! (art)
*hands over the valium for the RL*
*Takes entire bottle of valium* Thanks! And I'm glad you liked the art. ;D
Great art! And what, I ask, is Disney for, if not to serve as fodder for our corrupted minds? Nothing is sacred. ;)
Good luck with the party...Hopefully it won't be too disastrous.
Hee! Glad you liked the art. ;D *buys more booze for the party*
Love the art! Is Harry dreaming of Lockhart there? Or maybe George of the Jungle? ;)
That party-sounds like a train wreck about to happen. Hopefully, there won't be many casualties. Loved the in-law joke, I laughed out loud. Oddly, my husband didn't laugh much. Hmmm. Men.
Hee! I can't draw for shit without photo references and I kept getting odd results for "Prince Charming." But Harry's dream!prince *does* look like a cross between George and Lockhart.
Glad you liked the joke. My husband doesn't find it funny either, but it's one of my favorites.
Ahahah! Awesome; I love Harry's lovesick expression.
*crosses fingers for the party* I hope it doesn't turn into a total disaster! Relatives...if only they'd have some common sense.
Thanks! I love the girly way he's holding his potions book.
I am in such denial for tomorrow. I plan to clean like a madwoman and hide in the kitchen until the shouting is over.
ROFL! What an "expressive and princely" square chin! No wonder Severus is annoyed. Great job!
Good luck with the party! It seems that you fear the worst, so it can only get better! (At least a little bit.)
Hee! Thanks! The chin is a bit of a cross between Quagmire from Family Guy, Gaston from Beauty & the Beast, and George of the Jungle.
As for the party, well, hopefully once she calms down she will realize that her children really wanted to celebrate this milestone birthday because she's a breast cancer survivor and there was definitely a time when no one thought she would see this day. We'll just have to play it by ear.
I love your art!
(and I gotta say I recognized myself in your husband's mother. You better get out of her way that day oO)
Thanks! I stayed in the kitchen during the shouting and the throwing of things. It started out rough but ended up okay. Eventually. ;D
Glad to hear you got out of that alright! *hugs*
Whoa! Thanks for sharing your art with us! Fantabulous! *grin/purr*
OMG... Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad idea about the party. I really hope it doesn't get too nasty! The in-law joke is brilliant! *hugs*
Thanks! I'm glad you liked the art and the joke. It's one of my favorites. ;D And, although the night started out rough, it ended well so it all evened itself out. Eventually. *hugs back*
It's a very good joke... I feel like an in-law with my blood relatives. o.O
I'm glad to hear the "party" didn't end up with a body count. *snuggles*
Glad to see there are others out there with a sense of humor about their "lawlessness". My brother-in-law and I are the best of outlaws.
Good luck with the birthday. My mother, bless her, never celebrated a birthday beyond her 29th; the Mass card for her funeral two years ago listed her birthdate as 1932 and her age as 29. Only family understood. She would be very upset with us for coming into the house to prepare it for a party. However, it would be my Dad, who gave the permission, who would be in the worst spot.
Duck! And have fun.
Hee! Well, after the shouting was over, people ended up having a good time. I still think it would have been kinder to give her a heads up earlier in the day so she could have been angry in private, but everyone seems to be okay with it now.
Thankfully my husband has strong self-preservation instincts and knows to never do something like this to me.
*dies laughing* Harry needs a good wake-up call. (Preferably from the other side of the bed. :D )
Hee! That works for me. And probably for Severus, too! ;D |
